Where the facts on bassion.org come from, what we will not claim about a flower or a toothbrush, and how to report a mistake.
The people who run the Bassion catalog write every page on bassion.org. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.
Facts about the products
Bundle counts, stem heights, stems per bundle, materials and colors come from our own product data. When two descriptions of one bundle disagree, we print the more careful figure or leave it out.
The photographs and the home page film are ours. Frames with words, counts or arrows printed over them stay off the site, so each picture shows the flowers themselves, on white or in a planter.
What we do not claim
Our outdoor bundles carry a UV-resistant finish, and we say so. We do not promise that a color lasts indefinitely, because hours of sun, heat and rain differ from porch to porch, and the outdoor care page says what slows fading down. For the baby toothbrush set we describe the silicone and the cases, and we leave oral health advice to dentists and pediatricians.
Guides and sources
Where a page touches a baby's teeth, it cites public health bodies, and we read each source before citing it. The date we read it is printed beside it.
Corrections
If a count, a height, a color or a sentence here is wrong, write to windowbox@bassion.org. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
