Height at the back of the box
Lavender is what you plant at the back of a window box so the rounder flowers in front have something to sit against. Each of our lavender bundles stands about 14 inches with seven stems, and every stem carries its own spike and four pairs of leaves, so a single bundle already looks like a small clump.
Purple is the classic, and the 12-bundle pack covers a short box. The 24-bundle packs come in purple, fuchsia, red, white and yellow for a longer run or a pair of troughs. If you want lavender mixed in rather than on its own, the garden mix puts six lavender bundles beside twelve flower bundles and two ferns.
